Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus.
• A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor tasks.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
• Support Sr/Chief Estimators in creating preliminary budgets and detailed estimates.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Review drawings and technical specifications to understand project scope.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and revisions.
• Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to align on project goals.
