We’re seeking a ROCKSTAR Junior Credit Analyst to join our team and help assess and manage the credit risk for our bank. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or a similar role, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, but not required with experience.
  • Knowledge of credit analysis, financial statements, and loan documentation.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy in analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-driven.
  • Trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Credit Risk Certification) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of credit risk for loan applications, providing recommendations to senior management.
  • Perform detailed credit analysis, including financial statement reviews, market trends, and creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal credit policies.
  • Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio and provide early warning on potential risks or emerging issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit reports for senior leadership and board review.
  • Work closely with loan officers to evaluate new and existing loan applications.
  • Offer strategic guidance to lending teams on risk mitigation and portfolio performance.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to management on credit policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the credit department to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing development of credit processes and policies to enhance efficiency and minimize risk.
