About The Position

WSP is seeking a Junior Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team out of our Glastonbury, CT office. This individual will be physically reporting to a field office in Norwalk, CT. This is a hybrid position. Position Summary We are seeking a Junior Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls Group, supporting rail/transit and bridge projects in the Connecticut region. This role offers hands-on experience with major infrastructure programs and mentorship from senior schedulers. Your Impact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience
• 0-1 years of experience in construction scheduling or related field office/inspection work (field experience is a major plus)
• Familiarity with any scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare clear written reports
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or at any point in the future

Nice To Haves

• PMP, PSP, or completion of Primavera courses 102/106 is a plus

Responsibilities

• Reviewing contractor schedules for compliance with contract documents
• Tracking and verifying progress against baseline schedules
• Preparing schedule updates, progress narratives, and graphical reports (Gantt charts, histograms)
• Supporting "What-If" and recovery schedule scenarios
• Assisting with Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and claims reviews
• Developing planning schedules and resource/cost loading concepts
• Participating in schedule review meetings and collaborating with project teams
