The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling of various construction projects. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Requirements

  • Proficient with Asta Power Project and Primavera Project Management 6.0
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and Excel
  • Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
  • Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
  • Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle Screening
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related technical field
  • Minimum of 2 years Construction Management experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in AACE, CMAA, PMI, or PSP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Tracks the status of critical activities impacting the project
  • Monitors program milestones and interdependencies
  • Analyzes project planning, schedule updates and delays
  • Provides alerts on items impacting the project schedule
  • Identifies the critical path and suggests alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
  • Develop strategies for negotiating claims
  • Provides technical support in claims litigation
  • Write and prepare technical reports
  • Attend meetings and lead discussions on project status
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
