Requirements

  • Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Call Recording, UCCX, Cisco and Polycom endpoint management, Connexall, Vocera.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Cisco Communications Manager, Unity Connection.
  • Experience with Video/TelePresence, IVR/Contact Center, TV’s (ie.Telehealth).
  • Structured Cable Plant systems experience (patching and cable runs), maintain MDF and IDF maintenance and work with hospital specialized teams such as Bio-Med teams on specific IDF requirements.
  • Knowledge of faxing and VG224 Gateway protocols, and wiring.
  • 1 (one) year equivalent relevant experience.
  • High school graduate required.
  • Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
  • Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment.
  • Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking.
  • Works with or carries a variety of UC EQUIPMENT and material weighing up to 70 lbs. most of the day.
  • Close visual acuity for repairing network cabling required.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks.
  • Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in a related field preferred.
  • May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, design and implementation of Cisco Unified Communications Systems, including voice, video, conferencing, Connexall, Vocera, Jabber and related hardware and applications.
  • Maintains and repairs endpoint devices maintenance plans
  • Manages the Incident management queue (help desk tickets) as per the SLA’s
  • Handle all moves, adds, and changes regarding telephony devices for hospital rooms and staff.
