Nightwing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic Business Development Operations team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making, executing business development strategies, and optimizing Salesforce CRM functionality to fuel growth. This role is ideal for someone who excels at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is onsite 100% of the time in Dulles, VA

  • Manage, analyze, and update Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate data entry, pipeline visibility, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Prepare dashboards, insights, and reports using Salesforce and related tools for real-time visibility into business development initiatives.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into CRM data, user behavior, and business performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
  • Support the implementation of improvements to Salesforce workflows and integrations in collaboration with the business development team.
  • Generate summaries and reports on pipeline progress and deal performance for management review.
  • Provide recommendations to streamline processes and maximize Salesforce tool usage to enhance team productivity.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and administrative tasks to support overall business development efforts.
  • Facilitate bid board gate reviews, training sessions, and capability briefings.
  • Create purchase requisitions for Business Development Consultants and other purchase-related requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–2 years of Salesforce CRM experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance, please note U,S. Citizenship is required to be able to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in creating reports and data visualizations.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data; ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors in datasets.
  • Basic understanding of business development principles, client pipeline tracking, and sales processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with high initiative and adaptability.
  • Hands-on experience creating Salesforce reports, dashboards, or workflows (e.g., using Salesforce Flow).
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, App Builder) are a plus.
