About The Position

The Junior Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the documentation, analysis, and improvement of business processes across the organization. This entry‑level position is ideal for someone with foundational analytical skills and a curiosity for understanding how business operations work. The individual’s initial focus will be on building and organizing a comprehensive library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistency and compliance across departments. As the project progresses, the analyst will transition into broader responsibilities within process analysis, data reporting, and stakeholder collaboration to support the company’s operational and strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business analysis, data management, or process documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail required to ensure accuracy and consistency in SOP documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration or visualization tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI, SharePoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow within the business analysis field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to or experience using AI tools to support business analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, organization, and maintenance of the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) library.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in workflow mapping and process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct basic data analysis and prepare reports or dashboards to inform decisions.
  • Participate in cross functional meetings to capture notes, track project milestones, and assist in follow up actions.
  • Collaborate with departments such as operations, IT, and compliance to enhance documentation standards and process consistency.
  • Maintain audit ready documentation and version control for business processes.
  • Gradually take on broader analytical responsibilities, including performance tracking and identifying areas for operational improvement.
