We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with Power BI experience to support data-driven decision making across the organization. In this role, you will assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models while helping ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and reporting performance. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data engineers to transform raw data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decisions. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys data analysis, business intelligence tools, and solving business problems through analytics.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, dashboards, and data modeling).
Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of data governance and security principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations and leadership reporting.
Build and maintain Power BI semantic models and data models, including handling complex relationships.
Write DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical reporting.
Design and optimize data visualizations that communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders.
Work with large datasets to ensure performance optimization and efficient data refresh processes.
Connect and integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, ERP systems, APIs, and data warehouses.
Assist in data transformation using Power Query (M language).
Validate and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards.
Assist with maintaining data infrastructure, reporting servers, and BI platforms.
Support the monitoring of scheduled refreshes, batch processes, and data pipelines.
Help design and maintain backup and recovery procedures for reporting datasets.
Provide operational and technical support for BI tools and related systems.
Work with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support troubleshooting of data discrepancies, report issues, and system performance challenges.
Document data models, reporting logic, and technical processes.
