About The Position
Cordia Resources is seeking a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting function, with responsibilities across general ledger, accounts payable, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries to support timely month-end close
- Assist with accounts payable processing and vendor management
- Provide audit support, including preparing schedules and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
