Job Summary Reports to and work directly with the Accounting Manager. This role supports core accounting functions that drive financial accuracy, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation, or operational support preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP; familiarity with Access or other database tools is a plus.
  • Comfort working with vending technology, credit card readers, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains financial and business transactions with accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepares and maintains client and financial account reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assists with reporting to support month‑end accounting close entries; prepares various account reconciliations to support financial accuracy.
  • Assists with cash position analysis, check payments, deposits, purchases, expenses, and trial balances.
  • Compiles and reviews program revenue reporting and analysis for client programs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supports the Accounts Payable function, including check runs, reviewing entries, and maintaining vendor accuracy.
  • Develops and runs queries using Microsoft Access and Excel to support data analysis and reporting needs.
  • Analyzes program financial information to support business decisions and operational excellence.
  • Serves as a point of contact for finance‑related questions, providing clear communication and strong customer service.
  • Prepare additional accounting‑related reports as needed to support leadership and operational teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the department’s growth and evolving needs.
