About The Position

Junior Accountant – Accounting Division TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking a full-time Junior Accountant to join our team. This position will help the Accounting Department in managing financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting overall accounting operations of the organization, as well as supporting TTI service divisions to ensure transparency and efficiency in all transactions. This role offers opportunities for career growth and advancement. This is an in-office position in Moorestown, NJ.

Requirements

  • Oracle NetSuite experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Time management, ability to meet deadlines, ability to multitask, and responsiveness is vital
  • Experience with project, document, and data management
  • Proficient and accurate data entry
  • Ability to analyze information with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player, with excellent professional and interpersonal skills
  • General math and strong verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of dependability and confidentiality
  • Eagerness to learn and complete training
  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
  • Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Manage all of Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accuracy and proper general ledger coding
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments from start to finish with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain spreadsheets and assist with account analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Assist with journal entries, budgeting activities, and audit tasks
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and vendor account records
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes through reconciliation and accrual activities
  • Perform filing, scanning, and general administrative office duties
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Payroll processing as needed
  • Provide support for special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
