OOCL is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and subsidiary companies. As one of Hong Kong's most recognized global brands, OOCL provides customers with fully integrated logistics and containerized transportation services, with a network that encompasses Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australasia. The Financial Control team is responsible for all accounting and tax activities of several North American business entities within multiple industries including ocean carrier agency, trucking, intermodal/rail, and real estate. We maintain and develop accounting principles, practices, and procedures in alignment with headquarters to ensure accurate and timely financial statements to external stakeholders and internal reporting to corporate management, as well as to stay in compliance with regulations. Main responsibilities include general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and budget and forecast development.
