About The Position
The build up to University can be a daunting and stressful time especially when there is so much to think about and do. From finalising your UCAS application, waiting to receive your exam results or predicted grades and finally – hoping that you get your place at your chosen University. Global issues will understandably be adding to these pressures in ways no one could have predicted. That’s why we offer an annual financial grant towards the cost of your University studies plus up to six weeks of enjoyable and stretching paid work placements over Easter and summer holidays, for future JT superstars. Work Experience JT is a global company, able to offer bursary students a taste of working life in a fast-paced exciting environment, learning from the most talented professionals in their field. You will undertake various rotations across the business, learning from the most talented professionals in their field. For 2026, work placements will be focussed on commercial, sales and business development.
Requirements
- Have the right to live and work in the Channel Islands without sponsorship (five years minimum residency in Jersey or the Balliwick of Guernsey)
- Currently be studying for or about to embark on a University degree directly relevant to JT’s growth strategy
- Be passionate about pursuing a career in commercial, sales and business development
- Have a proactive, self-starting, can-do attitude
- Be genuinely interested in telecommunications and technology of the future
- Enjoy working collaboratively and communicating with people
