About The Position

Under the general direction of and reporting to the Jobsite Solutions Regional Manager, primary duties are to plan and execute sales events at assigned Home Depot and at industrial account locations. These events will be designed to sell products to end-users while educating and increasing awareness around the Milwaukee Brand.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Must be proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meet or Exceed levels of performance in a Field Sales Rep, Single Store Rep, or Event Marketing Specialist position or equivalent outside sales experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions and physical demands of the job with or without accommodation.
  • Must possess effective business communication skills, a broad business perspective, and market savvy.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 25% of time (depending on territory).

Responsibilities

  • The growth in sales, POS and market share within specific geographic territory.
  • Propose, prepare and execute specific Milwaukee events designed to sell products and drive awareness of the brand and new products.
  • Complete detailed tracking and reporting of sales reports associated to events
  • Provide key support in such areas as product training and event participation
  • Penetrate the regional market with a representation of Milwaukee products focusing on M12, M18 and Accessories
  • Operate within the trending and budget guidelines established by the Regional Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date opportunity funnel that delivers overall category goals, utilizing CRM to manage customer targets and sales conversion opportunities.
  • The professional development of his/her Milwaukee Sales Career.
  • Work continuously to learn and implement the Milwaukee Consultative Sales Process in the development of his/her sales skills.
  • Cooperate with the Regional Manager’s efforts to train, coach & mentor for continuous improvement in his/her sales performance.
  • Develop goals and self-evaluate performance toward achieving those goals.
  • Develop primary knowledge of the marketplace (users, conversion opportunities, applications, products, competition, channels).
  • Utilize technology such as laptops and the SALESFORCE.COM program within the guidelines of managing the territory as established by sales management.
  • Delivering the brand message to end users and distribution.
  • Support and implement strategic corporate brand marketing initiatives.
  • Cultivate end user demand and build brand champions through high energy and highly visible sales events at key accounts
  • Utilize available resources to put tools in the hands of the end user.
  • Providing feedback from the field related to: Competition, end users, channels of distribution, applications and products.
  • Effectiveness of policies and programs.
