About The Position

Network Doctor is an IT managed services firm where company culture and teamwork are essential. Our firm provides IT support to hundreds of SMB companies in the NY-metro area, across a diverse range of industries including finance, healthcare, real estate, non-profit, and others. THE TEAM The project team at Network Doctor is responsible for all technology implementations that require more than just a simple work order or request. They work with a wide variety of technologies, including but not limited to networking, systems administration, cloud services, security services. Position Details: The primary responsibility of this position is to be part of the project team, working both in office and onsite at client locations to plan and complete project work as needed. n The candidate should be a motivated individual looking to work in a stimulating, fast-paced and fun atmosphere. Responsibilities will be diverse and often require personal judgment. Successful interns will develop a tremendous amount of experience in technology implementations and project management. Internships typically last +/- 8 months. The team member would work from our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office daily and when needed travel onsite to our clients.

Requirements

  • Hands on server and networking experience - i.e. Windows server, routers, switches, and wifi devices
  • Technical certifications
  • Basic knowledge of: Setting up and managing backups, Microsoft Azure, SANs, NASs, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
  • Background in technology and a level of personal interest
  • Customer service experience
  • MSP Experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with the ConnectWise Suite of products is helpful but not a requirement
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Required
