YOU WILL BE: Saks Global is seeking an experienced and highly creative Junior Stylist to join our studio team in Dallas. Reporting to the Styling Manager, the Junior Stylist is responsible for preparing the on-model and product/still styling of Saks Global e-commerce photo shoots. As part of our studio visual production team, they will ensure that all styling is prepped and consistent with the Saks Global point of view, style guides, and that production/ productivity targets are met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dressing models and organizing merchandise for approximately 65 items daily. This role performs cross- functionally, collaborating with all studio departments, including but not limited to: Photography, Production, Shoot and Sample, Digital Techs, and Studio Management.

Requirements

A minimum of 1-year of experience in visual merchandising or fashion styling, preferably in a luxury or e-commerce environment
Style and taste level to correspond with Saks Global brand aesthetic
Stamina to be agile, efficient and flexible five days a week
Strong grasp of garment construction, fabrics, color, and matching
Exceptional fashion and styling sense with a proven ability to stay ahead of trends
Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and luxury designer labels
Strong communication skills (written and for presentation) and the ability to work with Style Director, Managers and Creative teams
Ability to multi-task
A self-starter. Someone who always seeks new processes, fresh ideas to problem solve
Ability to carry out creative processes in a fast-paced production environment
Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills
Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to process high volumes of workflow
Ability to prioritize, plan and execute

Responsibilities

Collaborate effectively with the Stylist on set to deliver consistent, high-quality and on-standard imagery
Assist the Stylist in dressing models, organizing merchandise, and steaming garments
Record outfit pairings for each garment by inputting prop data into tracking system
Maintain studio workflow standards to optimize time to site by working closely Shoot and Sample
Research brand aesthetics, lookbooks, runway imagery, and seasonal trends daily
Maintain the overall upkeep of the prop closet and supply closet
