Lee Wesley Group, a family-owned leader in the restaurant operations and franchising industry, is recruiting for a Jr. Accountant; Peoplr is excited to be leading this search. In this role, you will assist in analyzing costs, revenues, and financial obligations to support accurate forecasting of future performance. You will record daily transactions, maintain general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. You will also aid in audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Additional responsibilities include coding invoices, assisting with month-end close, managing reconciliations, and performing other accounting or administrative duties as needed. This is a regular, full-time position. The chosen candidate will work onsite from company headquarters in Orlando.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices (e.g., GAAP)
  • Proficiency accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (including PivotTables, LOOKUPs, and IF statements)
  • Skilled in establishing priorities and organizing work; able to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related
