About The Position

Ready to build the foundation of your software engineering career in a growth-focused program? Amazon is looking for highly motivated students to join the Jr. Developer Program (JDP). As a Jr. Software Development Engineer (Jr. SDE), you will write real software and collaborate with experienced engineers who provide guidance and opportunities for ownership. As a year-round intern, you will be fully integrated into a team and regularly contribute to impactful deliverables. Your designs and code will help solve complex technical challenges at Amazon. The JDP is a year-round internship program designed to support a strong balance between work and school. You will receive 1:1 mentorship from a full-time Amazonian for the entirety of your program tenure. Flexible part-time schedules during the school year and full-time employment over the summer create an environment where students can succeed both academically and professionally. In New York, an established Jr. community fosters meaningful connections between you and your peers. Our team is currently looking for students to start with our March 2026 cohort. Upon successful completion of the program, the opportunity for full-time employment may be available at an Amazon corporate site.
