About The Position

IES Residential is currently looking for JR Plumbing Estimator. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, organized but will also be responsible for evaluating bid specifications and analyzing blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to successfully bid plumbing service projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Excel savvy is a plus)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting plans and specifications of projects
• Preparing transmittals, distributing plans and specifications during the bid process
• Planning detailed quantity surveys and completing scope
• Preparing master budgets and cost models for projects
• Providing abstract project estimates
• Discussing with employers, suppliers, or other involved parties to review estimates and resolve issues.
