In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of HR, administrative, or financial experience required.
  • Experience with Human Resources Management Software required.
  • Prior experience with payroll required. Knowledge of multi-state payroll preferred.
  • Familiarity with timesheets and payroll reports required.
  • Excellent communication, research, and organization skills required.
  • Experience working under bi-weekly deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state labor laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on business or HR-related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Paylocity Time and Labor module to ensure proper recording of time worked and time off by employees.
  • Run periodic time entry audit reports to ensure adherence to company time tracking policy and adjusting if necessary.
  • Work directly with managers and employees to rectify time discrepancies.
  • Manage payroll preparation for each cycle.
  • Maintain employee profiles in HR & Payroll Module to include verifying proper taxation, pay, and deduction set-up.
  • Communicate with HRIS and Benefits to coordinate timing of benefit and pay changes.
  • Confirm accuracy of information received through integration (i.e. 401k).
  • Create and maintain payroll batches for one-time employee pay changes.
  • Calculate final payments for terminating employees in accordance with applicable state laws.
  • Oversee and respond to employee inquiries received via Paylocity Community HR Questions-Payroll and Time & Labor Smart Group.
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll data, identifying and correcting variances.
  • Receive, respond, and enter garnishments within Paylocity to ensure proper calculation based on priority and type.
  • Work with Payroll Manager on special projects and other duties as assigned.
