STS Systems Defense, LLC (SSD), a Bristol Bay Government Services Group, LLC, is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. SSD is seeking Jr. Level Acquisitions Support Specialist to support the Air Force Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (AF JWICS) Program Management Office (PMO). This position is contingent upon contract award. Position location is yet to be determined and will be defined based on contract requirements and customer direction. What You’ll Do: Independently support post-award contract administration activities, including tracking contract actions, maintaining contract documentation, and supporting timely execution of contract modifications, funding actions, and deliverables. Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring required administrative actions are completed in accordance with FAR, agency procedures, and program-specific guidance. Coordinate directly with Government personnel (e.g., COs, CORs, PMO staff) and internal program team members to support day-to-day acquisition and contract administration requirements. Maintain complete and audit-ready contract files and records, supporting reviews, reporting requirements, and data calls with minimal oversight. Provide acquisition documentation support across the contract lifecycle, including preparation, review, and tracking of acquisition plans, determinations and findings, tasking documents, and related artifacts. Support select pre-award activities as required, ensuring continuity of acquisition support and responsiveness to evolving program needs. Identify administrative gaps or process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to support timely and compliant contract actions. Perform other acquisition and contract support duties as assigned in support of program objectives. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in business, contracting, acquisition, program management, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant acquisition or contract support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated working knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle, including post-award contract administration and coordination with Government stakeholders. Experience supporting DoD or federal acquisition environments, with the ability to operate independently in a structured, compliance-driven setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to manage documentation, trackers, and records with attention to detail. Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and interfaces effectively.
