As an Industrial Designer, you will help shape the next generation of recreational vehicles by transforming ideas into functional, innovative, and emotionally compelling concepts. Working closely with Product Development teams, you’ll explore new forms, materials, and user experiences to create products that exceed customer expectations and define the future of BRP. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial design (product or transport design)
- Relevant experience designing and developing recreational vehicles, motor vehicles or motorcycles
- Ability to communicate in English
- Strong ability to communicate ideas by sketching as well as specialized knowledge of 2D and 3D design software (Ex : Photoshop, Illustrator, Vred, and Alias)
- Solid knowledge of recent trends in design, assembly systems, manufacturing processes and the transportation industry.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design and develop functional, innovative and ergonomic solutions that lead to the best recreational products
- Develop and initiate projects that exceed customers’ needs
- Contribute to exploring and conceptualizing various aspects related to the industrial design of innovative vehicles with a high emotional content
- Play a major role in developing and validating concepts, working closely with the Product Development teams
- Contribute to brainstorming and determine how to meet latent user needs
- Suggest ideas for concepts, materials and creations
