About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is basic day-to-day operations to maintain golf courses.
Requirements
- No experience required.
- High School students that are at least 16 years old and have a desire to learn about Golf Course Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Basic course set up duties to present proper tee marker positions and hole locations.
- Set up duties also involve litter and waste removal, ball washer maintenance and general care and upkeep of course amenities
- Mowing and grooming; keep up playability and high quality appearance.
- Walking and riding select equipment.
- Hand water turf; requires moving hoses manually and recognizing wilt conditions. This task is essential to keeping healthy turf.
- Hand labor; including raking, shoveling, pushing and divot repair to groom the course.
