Seasonal Golf Course Technician
About The Position
The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Green & Grounds team for the 2026 golf season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining beautiful spaces, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. While prior landscaping or golf course experience is beneficial, we place greater value on reliability, work ethic, and a positive attitude than on technical experience. Anticipated Start Date: These seasonal positions are expected to begin in March or April 2026, weather and operational needs permitting. Why Choose CCY? Responsibilities
- Assist with daily golf course setup including tees, greens, and fairways
- Operate and maintain equipment such as walk-behind and riding mowers
- Perform bunker maintenance, string trimming, edging, and rotary mowing
- Complete debris removal and general grounds maintenance
- Maintain clubhouse grounds and surrounding areas
- Assist with trash removal, cooler setup, and special projects as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and communicate any issues to leadership
- Perform other appropriate duties as assigned
