The Pricing and Data Accuracy Analyst will own promo pricing and other pricing tasks. They will also be responsible to audit pricing data using BI reporting. The Pricing and Data Accuracy Analyst will assist in Omni-channel Market Basket analysis using third-party software that facilitates statistical tool and will aid in developing relevant, actionable strategies intended to mitigate risk in the Retail and Direct channels. The (Pricing) Analyst will develop a close relationship with multiple cross functional groups and play an integral role in communicating testing results starting from process organization through implementation and execution. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and have an existing knowledge / interest in the modern retail environment. This individual should have an understanding of relational databases (like SAP HANA, Oracle and SQL Server) and excellent Excel (complex formula structure building) and data analysis skills. The Pricing and Data Accuracy Analyst must possess an intermediate skill set in SQL, R Studio or similar. A deeply curious mind and an aptitude for learning are essential for success. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred majors: Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or Computer-Science
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (complex formula building)
  • Intermediate knowledge or high interest of databases, SQL, R Studio and other BI tools (QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience or strong interest in retail planning, allocation or buying
  • Outstanding analytical skills, data driven mindset & solution-driven mindset
  • Hands-on experience with Analytics & data mining
  • Ideally 1 year of analytics or business experience in retail (or related field inventory management, demand forecast or supply chain, finance, consulting, marketing or commensurate academic experience).

Responsibilities

  • Manage all pricing changes and promo pricing in our system to support the business.
  • Audit merchant/ business data and ensure 100% accuracy in PO and style metadata.
  • Own the Market Basket Analysis as needed and on going.
  • Desire to independently research business processes and the ability to provide relevant ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Organized, accuracy and attention to detail
