Salary: between $75,000 - $80,000 depending on experience + annual discretionary bonus This position is 100% onsite in our beautiful Ladera Ranch office. Jr. Acquisition Analyst Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Acquisitions, the Jr. Acquisition Analyst is responsible for analyzing potential investment opportunities, conducting market research, evaluating financial projects, and assisting in the acquisition process.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance, real estate, accounting/economics or another related field required.
  • One to two years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, acquisitions, or financial analysis required.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and market research.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with specific high degree of skill in Excel/Demographics/Mapping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time to consistently meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and evaluates potential real estate investment opportunities.
  • Conducts market research and feasibility studies for various properties in both the US and Canada.
  • Reviews and interprets financial data and projections.
  • Assists in due diligence processes for property acquisitions.
  • Prepares investment memos, presentations, and reports for key stakeholders.
  • Monitors industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the acquisitions team to assess and prioritize potential deals.
  • Builds financial models and performs valuation analyses.
  • Provides support in the management of the acquisitions pipeline.
  • Assists in preparing investment proposals and recommendations.
  • Participates in team meetings and provides insights into potential investments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
