Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of service department operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies
  • Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Experience level varies by position
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to push and maneuver vehicles as needed
  • Stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders
  • Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
  • Communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
  • Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
