About The Position

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Engineering Technician to directly support the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, which is within the Cyber and Networks Directorate (AFLCMC/HN), and located at Lackland AFB, TX.

Requirements

• MUST have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience, 3 of which must be in the DoD
• OR 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD
• OR GED and at lest 2 years of experience in the respective profession, 2 of which mut be in the DoD

Responsibilities

• Perform work with responsibility in planning and conducting projects of limited scope, or a portion of a larger project which includes leadership responsibilities, scheduling, and planning activities.
• The work involves functions such as research, data analysis, development, design, evaluation, inspection, problem solving, production, application, standardization, testing, or operation of engineering facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices, or materials
