Journeyman Software Engineer
About The Position
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to work for our company. Summary: Client Agency is Customs & Border Protection Demonstrated ability to work under only general direction and guide subordinate personnel. Translates detailed design into computer software. Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Provides technical direction/assistance to subordinate staff and follows reliability and maintainability guidance and policy to minimize life cycle costs of finished products.
Requirements
- Eligibility to obtain a Department of Homeland Security suitability. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Must have a Bachelors Degree
- Must have 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with database, internet, web, and e-business software and interfaces.
- Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
