Journeyman Software Developer
About The Position
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Software Developer to work for our company. Summary: Client Agency is Customs & Border Protection Candidate under general supervision, develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Has good understanding of business applications. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Provide support to develop Web based applications including online customer service to transform government agencies to be able to deliver their services online. Provide support in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website. Provide support for the implementation of interfaces to applications.
Requirements
- Eligibility to obtain a Department of Homeland Security suitability. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Must have a Bachelors Degree
- Must have 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
