About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, a premier capital equipment dealer, is seeking a Journeyman level Service Technician to join their team in Oahu, HI. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of construction equipment, both in the field and in the shop, to ensure accurate and timely repairs, support customers, and maximize their equipment uptime. As a Journeyman technician, you will be counted on for challenging jobs.

Requirements

5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment
Basic computer knowledge
Self-motivation
Ability to work under little or no supervision
Excellent communication and customer relations skills
Driver’s license with a good driving record
Must provide own tools

Nice To Haves

Class B CDL preferred

Responsibilities

Work on all makes and models of construction equipment both in the field and in the shop
Ensure equipment repairs are done accurately and timely
Support customers and maximize their uptime
Perform top-notch work on equipment
Interact with customers
