Job Description: The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in accordance with local and national plumbing codes. This role requires a high level of skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or lead a small team of apprentices. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of plumbing experience
- Idaho Journeyman's license
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, fixtures, and drainage systems
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and accurately
- Operate plumbing tools and equipment such as pipe threaders, soldering tools, and drain cleaning machines
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
- Document work performed, materials used, and any recommendations for future service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and appearance
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company with integrity
