About The Position

We're looking for a Journeyman Plumber to serve at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will handle everything from general maintenance to complex plumbing repairs. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, installations, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and regulations. You’ll also perform facility maintenance, restoration, and repairs on various building structures and shop equipment as needed.

Requirements

Journeyman Plumber License required.
3+ years of experience in industrial piping systems with materials like PVC, copper, and stainless steel.
Proficient in preventive maintenance for equipment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background Check: All candidates must successfully pass a background check to ensure trustworthiness and compliance with company standards.
Drug Screening: required to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Driving History Check: Candidates must pass a driving history check to ensure a safe driving record, as some positions may require driving.
Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for this position to operate company vehicles or travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and install various plumbing systems.
Perform minor to complex service work on plumbing components.
Maintain shop equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot breakdowns.
Follow all health, safety, and operational protocols.
Complete additional work-related duties as assigned.
