About The Position

Provide travel management and system support services by administering travel authorizations, processing vouchers, ensuring compliance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), and supporting DHS S&T travel operations.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in financial operations and government travel
  • Knowledge of FTR
  • Knowledge of travel systems
  • Knowledge of financial analysis
  • Knowledge of customer support
  • Knowledge of documentation accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Experience with ConcurGov, ETS2, STATS
  • Experience with DHS financial data handling and internal control compliance

Responsibilities

  • Administer and process travel authorizations and vouchers
  • Verify travel expenses for accuracy and allowability under FTR
  • Calculate reimbursements for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidentals
  • Educate staff on travel policies and procedures
  • Support travel system configuration, reporting, and compliance activities
  • Assist with audit requests and travel program reporting
