About The Position

GMEA Services is a leading electrical contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, manufacturing and robotics projects. We’re looking for skilled and motivated Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Requirements

Valid TDLR Electrician License (Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation).
3-5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical diagrams.
Strong understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Willingness to travel for projects (travel accommodations provided).
Experience with industrial automation, controls, or robotics.
OSHA 10/30 certification.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete jobs on schedule.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
