Try-out and tune in sheet metal stamping dies Help in the assembly of dies on the bench Safely operate presses, press feeder equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, surface grinders and other machine tools. Responsible for quality and on time delivery of new tool build projects. Effectively communicate with engineering and quality team members when trouble shooting. Help train and mentor apprentices on how dies are built and supposed to function.

Requirements

Journeyman Tool and Die Maker
set up and operate mahcine tools (surface grinders, drill presses, and milling machines).
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Understand and use a wide range of precision measuring instruments.
Ability to manage multiple projects effciently and thoroughly
Dependable, strong work ethic, collaborative team member
Good housekeeping skills
