About The Position

Proudly made in the USA and built from premium materials, our products are engineered for durability, easy installation, and everyday enjoyment in backyards nationwide. We are looking for a dedicated Journeyman Carpenter & Glazier to join our team, specializing in the installation of glass and metal for our sunrooms, solariums, and pergolas. Prior experience is preferred but not required – we are committed to training motivated candidates to familiarize them with our products, processes, and hands-on installation techniques. This role offers hands-on product education and ongoing support and development, ensuring you have the tools and guidance to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely and efficiently, and can thrive both independently and as part of a team. Requirements

  • Prior carpentry, glazing, or related installation experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and undergo hands-on training.
  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and install heavy materials.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for the entire duration of work shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues.

Responsibilities

  • Apply weather seals, caulking, and other materials to ensure structural integrity
  • Read and interpret blueprints and installation guidelines
  • Operate hand and power tools to secure and assemble materials
  • Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
