Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) Analyst assist military and government Service personnel for training planning, development, execution, and observation services for training activities. Personnel shall have the ability to use standard systems employed in the development of HD and DSCA missions, which includes CRE missions, to include Google Earth and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) products. Duties: Primary action officer for collection of lessons learned regarding both employments of USARNORTH assets in response to missions as well as lessons learned by other organizations in events determined by USARNORTH Includes the establishment of policies and procedures necessary to execute an overarching action plan based on observations captured during HD and DSCA operations, exercises, and other training events Assist with the development of the training Collection Management Plan by gathering information, identifying and analyzing the issues and requirements of supported/participating Commanders, developing recommendations to solve substantive problems of effectiveness and produce timely and accurate assessment reports Be familiar with lessons learned and After-Action Review (AAR) methodologies Have working knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop a Collection Management Plan for operations and exercises by gathering information, identifying and analyzing the issues and requirements of supported/participating Commanders, developing recommendations to solve substantive problems of effectiveness and produce timely and accurate assessment reports. Assist the Lead Exercise Planner or Lead OC/T element in the production and execution of their After-Action Reviews (AAR) Upon completion of all AARs, the analyst shall provide recommendations to the G3 and Commander on issues requiring corrective action as well as "best practices" for each supported exercise, evaluation or operation for input into the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) This system is used by all Army organizations as a repository for lessons learned and provides a "library" to pull from and capture best practices from various and like organizations
