Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program
  • 5+ years of experience at an operational level HQs, such as Corps, DRU, ASCC, or ACOM, Staff with planning background
  • Experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and associated requirements to plan and execute Command Post Exercises (CPX), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)
  • Knowledge of Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and the Office 365 environment
  • Ability to take an exercise from concept phase, plan the exercise, and prepare and provide a senior-level concept of operation brief
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate of Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Intermediate Level Education (ILE)

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of experience at the Brigade level
  • Experience in Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) simulations
  • Experience managing an exercise budget with multiple funding streams
  • Knowledge of the aspects of Multi-Domain Operations
  • Experience utilizing the Joint Training Tool and ARTIMS
  • Master's Degree
