The Carroll Fellows Alumni project is being launched to strengthen the long-term impact and legacy of the Carroll Fellows Program by creating a formal alumni group. This group will serve as a platform for engagement, mentorship, fundraising, and events — connecting past Carroll Fellows with current students and the broader Georgetown community. The John Carroll Fellows Assistant will play a central role in launching a new alumni engagement initiative designed to strengthen the legacy and long-term impact of the Carroll Fellows Program. This position focuses on building the foundational structure of a formal alumni network that connects past Carroll Fellows with one another and with current students. The role involves developing organizational frameworks, refining and verifying alumni data, supporting leadership recruitment, and laying the groundwork for future events and programming. Working closely with university stakeholders and program advisors, the Assistant will ensure that milestones are met, documentation is organized, and deliverables are aligned with strategic goals. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact initiative from the ground up, helping to establish a lasting platform for mentorship, engagement, and community building within the Carroll Fellows network. This position will work closely with the Carroll Scholars Program Director, currently Professor John Glavin, on tasks related to setting up this alumni group, and on any necessary planning, events, and activities related to the Fellows or to Professor Glavin’s work in the Department of English.
