About The Position

Under the supervision of the Open Placement Manager, the Placement & Retention Specialist will provide comprehensive case management, including intake, job readiness training, job leads, arrange interviews, and job placement and retention services to clients enrolled in the Open Placement Program. Additionally, this position will develop relationships with area employers and agencies to increase opportunities for clients to gain and maintain employment, and also be responsible for executing the monthly retention reporting.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or two (2) years of professional experience.
• Possess a privately owned vehicle and valid license or must be able to access locations, possibly at a moments notice that may not be accessible by public transportation.
• A background check and driving screen will be completed as a condition of employment.

• Successful experience in job placement, job development, sales/marketing, or a related field and experience in working with persons who have disabilities or who are disadvantaged and/or a desire to work with such persons is preferred.
