Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years of experience working with persons with disabilities preferred in a vocational setting
Valid State of Michigan driver’s license required
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to pass background checks as applicable
Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
Possess basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Monitor quality and general work performance, and coordination to make necessary adjustments to given task and environmental modifications to ensure consumer success
Transportation and Participation in Community Activities
Personal Care/Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
Provide vocational supports in a variety of settings; community and facility based
Encourages independence and building of natural supports within the work environment
Maintain a productive working relationship with host companies and employers
