About The Position
Looking for a part-time role that’s both meaningful and flexible? As a Job Coach at Renewed Horizons, you’ll support adults with developmental disabilities as they build confidence, learn new skills, and succeed in community-based jobs. You’ll work side-by-side with participants at local businesses — offering guidance, encouragement, and real-time coaching that helps them thrive. Perfect for students, retirees, or anyone looking to make a difference without committing to a full-time schedule.
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance & reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check
- No experience required — we’ll train you!
Nice To Haves
- Experience with education, caregiving, coaching, or similar roles is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with participants at their jobs — coaching and supporting in real time
- Help teach job skills, time management, and workplace communication
- Encourage independence while providing backup support when needed
- Communicate with employers and our team to ensure long-term success
- Document progress and observations after each shift
- Offer transportation or accompany participants to work as needed
