About The Position

CAS is hiring a Job Coach to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community employment settings. This is a hands-on, people-focused role centered on skill development, workplace success, and growing independence. We offer competitive pay, paid training, and excellent benefits. No prior Job Coach experience required — we train you.

Requirements

  • Experience in direct support, caregiving, coaching, or human services is a plus, but not required
  • ​​Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to individuals at their workplaces
  • Assist with learning and performing job tasks and daily work routines
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and professionalism on the job
  • Support communication and positive interactions with coworkers and supervisors
  • Help individuals build workplace skills such as organization, time management, and problem-solving
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to support and progress
  • Promote safe, inclusive, and respectful work environments
  • Serve as a positive role model and advocate for individual needs and preferences
