If you're looking for meaningful work that changes lives, this is your chance. Were seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Job Coach to support our clients in the High Desert area. This position may be assigned in one of two ways. As an Individual Placement (IP) Job Coach , youll work one-on-one with clients who are directly hired by community employers such as Target, Walmart, or Vons. Youll be assigned a small caseload of clients, observing and shadowing them on the job while stepping in to provide training, guidance, and support as needed. Alternatively, you may work as a Group Job Coach at the Walmart Distribution Center in Apple Valley. In this role, youll support a group of 34 clients in the box processing department. Group Job Coaches work alongside the clients, completing the same job tasks while also providing hands-on training, assistance, and encouragement to the group. Requirements

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, job duties, and work locations
  • Someone who enjoys hands-on work and making a real impact
  • Warehouse or production experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required
  • Must be 21 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Working on-site at warehouse and community-based job sites
  • Coaching clients through tasks such as packing, labeling, sorting, sanitation, and general production work
  • Providing hands-on support while encouraging independence and confidence
  • Monitoring productivity and supporting clients in meeting job expectations
  • Identifying individual strengths and growth areas and providing targeted training
  • Documenting progress and communicating with supervisors and case managers
  • Creating a positive, professional, and inclusive work environment
