About The Position

Assure all individuals are treated with dignity and respect. To adhere to all agency safety policies, including safe driving and seat belt practices. Assist individuals (i.e. through demonstration, repetition, verbal and gestural instruction) in learning job tasks. Assist Individuals in establishing community employment relationships, schedules, and adherence to work policy. Support Individuals as needed (i.e. setting work pace, implementing work responsibilities, correcting work, etc.) to ensure success on the job. Problem-solving issues with the individual and employer. Assist in the development and implementation of all individual plans for services, which assist in increasing individual participation in daily activities. Completion of all assigned documentation, including daily schedules, annual summaries, progress notes, data sheets, etc. Actively participate in staff training and assigned meetings Follows and implements all clinical services and programs as in-serviced Verbal Interactions as per Behavioral support training Physical interventions as per behavioral support training Communication OT, PT, ST Perform other duties as assigned. Peripheral Duties and Responsibilities: Transport Individuals to/from work Assist in working out schedules and schedule conflicts Assist coworkers by providing support as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • +1 year Human Services
  • Willingness and ability to complete CPR, NCI (Nonviolent crisis intervention) Human Rights and other required training.
  • Access and provision of an insured automobile on an ongoing basis
  • Divers License
  • Access to an insured vehicle
  • working knowledge of employment supports
  • Ability to read/write English
  • ability to instruct individuals
  • Ability to pass CESP certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
