About The Position

Moser is seeking a senior-level, client-facing role focused on platform strategy, governance design, and hands-on implementation.

Due to the scope and visibility, the right person will naturally influence architecture direction, delivery quality, and client outcomes through expertise, sound judgment, and collaborative engagement.

The Jira Architect will be advising at a strategic level while actively contributing to delivery when needed.

Requirements

• 6+ years designing and implementing Jira solutions, including experience architecting environments beyond a single team or project.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing environments is highly preferred, including leading discovery sessions, presenting recommendations, and advertising stakeholders on trade-offs.
• Deep knowledge of: Workflow Architecture Designing reusable workflow frameworks that support multiple teams while maintaining governance and clarity.
• Permission Schemes Structuring secure and scalable access models aligned to organizational roles and compliance needs.
• Issue Hierarchies Designing logical issue type structures (Epics, Stories, Tasks, custom types) that support reporting and operational visibility.
• Field Governance Managing custom field strategy to prevent sprawl and maintain reporting integrity.
• Automation Design Building automation rules that scale, avoid conflict, and reduce manual administrative overhead.
• Atlassian Ecosystem Integrations Designing integration approaches across Jira, Confluence, and external systems using APIs, automation, or middleware.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and configuration levels by moving from architectural planning to hands-on execution when required.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to present options, explain trade-offs, and build alignment among stakeholders.

• Step into delivery work during high-demand or high-complexity phases.
• Troubleshoot architectural conflicts and technical debt.
• Provide architectural review and guidance to fellow consultants.
• Elevate delivery standards through shared patterns and reusable frameworks.
• Contribute to internal best practices
• Help the practice mature through contribution
