Position Description: JIRA Administrator – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• OR 5 (five) years of equivalent experience in Jira administration
• Hands on experience configuring Jira workflows and issue types
• Experience managing user permissions and access controls
• Experience integrating Jira with DevOps tools such as GitLab or Confluence
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting federal or DoD programs
• Experience designing workflow automation for complex programs
• Experience building advanced dashboards and executive level reporting views
• Familiarity with IT service management concepts and SLA monitoring
• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, ITIL Foundation certification

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Jira as the primary ticketing and workflow management system
• Design and maintain workflows to support Work Order tracking and task automation
• Administer user roles, permissions, and access controls
• Customize dashboards, reports, and boards to support program visibility
• Monitor and maintain system performance and data integrity
• Support SLA tracking and reporting requirements
• Integrate Jira with tools such as GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps platforms
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement process improvements
• Support Agile teams with board configuration, sprint setup, and backlog management
