About The Position

_This is a 24\-month training internship\._ WORK PERFORMED: Sets up and operates Jig Borer and Boring Mills using care in lining up and clamping work to avoid distortions\. Works from complicated drawings for making replacements, experimental tooling or first\-run parts, with or without tools\. Precision bores straight and angular parts\. Checks dial indicators and micrometer bars carefully to see that work is held to the required close tolerances\. Must be able to triangulate, make layouts and locate holes to be bored\. Is required to operate a jig borer and horizontal boring mill on diversified work\. TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED: Various makes of jig borers, horizontal boring mills, machinists' hand tools and a variety of precision measuring instruments\.

Requirements

• Two \(2\) year jig boring or the equivalent technical education\.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations \(ITAR\)\. All applicants must be U\.S\. persons within the meaning of ITAR\. ITAR defines aU\.S\.person as aU\.S\.Citizen, U\.S\. Permanent Resident \(i\.e\. 'Green Card Holder'\), Political Asylee, or Refugee\.
