The Jewish Board’s Marketing & Communications Department creates a positive public perception of our agency’s mental health and social service programs with a broad audience of stakeholders – including current and potential clients, client referral sources, donors, employees, volunteers, and the media – to help New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds get the support and care they need. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Jewish Services Marketing Associate will support our Jewish Community Services division in educating and activating prospective and current clients across the different denominations of the Jewish community by developing print and digital materials geared toward the Jewish community. The Associate role is about more than just marketing—it’s about connecting people with critical support, uplifting communities, and making a real difference in their lives. Working directly with our Jewish Community Services and the Marketing teams, the Associate will develop marketing content for programs that fall under our Jewish Community Services, including: a teen mental health outreach program; a Jewish specialty mental health clinic; a program that provides services to Jewish alcoholics, chemically dependent people, and others in recovery; crisis services; Jewish loss and bereavement groups; and outreach and support for those impacted by domestic violence. The Associate will help implement campaigns, report and respond to outcomes and feedback, and plan how to strengthen their effectiveness. A successful candidate will have a strong interest in the mental health field, an understanding of the different Jewish communities across New York City, or a willingness to learn about them, and a solid grasp of digital and offline marketing techniques to effectively position our programs to their target audiences.
